The Great Lakes Cruising Club (GLCC), of which Bill Rohde is a the Port Captain for Bayfield and also a member of the Board of Directors, is pleased to announce its second season of offering internet-based classes for Great Lakes boaters. Following first year interest from over 500 students, the Great Lakes Cruising Club School’s 2nd year of operation has expanded to include over 50% more courses. I thought the BYC membership might be interested in hearing about them.
In addition to our Great Lakes cruising area core curriculum (webinars on cruising each area of our Great Lakes system), we also offer numerous additional classes on topics as varied as marine weather forecasting, boat maintenance and repair, on board power management, provisioning for boat and crew, and a forum by and for women cruisers, to name just a few. Classes are taught by highly experienced Great Lakes cruisers as well as nationally recognized marine experts.
GLCCSchool courses are open to all, GLCC members and non-members alike. See the attached information sheet : www.GLCCSchool.com
